Game Nights Entertainment is not just selling a game – we are selling excitement, traffic, loyalty (week after week) and revenue-generating events that fills seats at your venues on slow nights.
1. What are the primary benefits of bringing GNE trivia into my venue? We don’t just provide a game; we provide a proven growth strategy for your business. The benefits include:
2. What makes us different from the competition? We don’t just offer trivia; we offer a partnership backed by decades of industry experience and local success. Here is why 140+ Arizona venues trust us:
3. What is the total cost per night and what does it include? Our goal is to make these high-margin events for you. While it is free to players, venues pay a $250 one-time onboarding fee for equipment and installation. After that, the weekly fee is $125 (with a minimum 16-week commitment). We handle everything via a weekly ACH. This covers the full game setup, fresh weekly questions, professional marketing materials, your virtual host, and 24/7 troubleshooting.
4. How do I justify the weekly cost compared to my current revenue? We focus on “Table Spend.” Consider that a single table of four players staying for a two-hour trivia session will likely spend between $80–$120 on food and drinks. It only takes one or two tables to cover the cost of your trivia fee for the entire night. Everything beyond that is pure incremental profit.
5. What is the retention rate of your current venues? Our 140+ Arizona venues stick with us because the math works. Most of our partners see trivia night become one of their top revenue-generating nights of the week, with 80% of our venues staying with us for 5+ years.
6. Can I sign up for a shorter trial period? Because we are building a weekly “habit,” it takes time to see the maximum ROI. The 16-week minimum ensures we have enough time to build a loyal, recurring crowd that views your venue as their “home base.”
7. How many weeks per year does this run? What about holidays? We operate year-round and for major holidays, we can discuss skipping a week or running a holiday-themed special to capitalize on the people looking for a place to go. Most venues do a minimum of 48 weeks per year.
8. Tell me about Game Nights Entertainment and how it started. Our founder, Jesse Grothe has a lifelong restaurant career, began hosting trivia in 2012 at Dan Majerle’s Sports Grill downtown location bar. He grew the company’s expertise and began creating engaging apps for restaurants, bars, events and continues to grow the company.
9. Who provides the prizes? Most venues provide the prizes—usually $10–$50 gift cards for their own establishment. People love to win prizes – it guarantees the winners will return to your venue to spend those winnings on a future visit.
10. What specific products and game formats do you offer? We offer a diverse range of high-energy entertainment under the GNE banner:
11. How do you help onboard me? We make it a turn-key experience. Onboarding includes a full site survey, equipment installation, and a kickoff meeting. We also provide a GNE Ambassador who will be onsite for the first several weeks to ensure your launch is taken care of.
12. How do my customers play your Trivia game? Is it easy to learn? It’s a very intuitive system. Players simply Download the App and follow six easy steps:
13. Can I market my own products, prices, and special offers on the screens? Yes! During the game, we can integrate your internal promotions—like a “Trivia Night Burger Special”—directly onto the screens. This turns your entertainment system into an active sales tool.
14. How many screens should I dedicate to the trivia? Ideally, you use all or most screens within you main area, and we recommend a minimum of 30% of your screens. The more screens, the more coverage and engagement! This creates an “event” feel that attracts walk-in customers to join in.
15. What kind of questions and challenges are in the game? We keep the energy high with diverse, visual content. With 30,000 questions and hundreds of themes the games stay fresh. Here are a few examples:
16. What are my choices with questions? We provide new and general trivia content weekly. Our goal is to make it challenging yet easy enough that there are winners. If you want a themed event, let us know and we can show you our themed menu.
17. Tell me about your Virtual Host? Kid Corona is our virtual host is a professionally produced, charismatic “guide” that runs the game through your TV screens. This ensures every question is timed perfectly and your staff is free to focus on service.
18. Are there themes around sports, TV shows, etc.? Absolutely. We offer specialty theme nights (like 90s Pop Culture or Sitcoms) which are massive draws for niche crowds and help spice up the calendar.
19. How long does the game last? Our game lasts 90 minutes. Any longer and people lose interest; any shorter and they don’t buy that second round of drinks.
20. Is the trivia too hard? Our questions are a mix of pop culture, history, and music—challenging enough to be a game, but with the goal of easy enough for lots of people to win.
21. I’ve tried other companies, and it didn’t work well for us. Why are you different? We aren’t just a “quiz” company. We provide an on-site Ambassador, a Virtual Host that removes the burden from your staff, and supportive marketing benefits.
22. How will people know about this? We provide marketing elements to help you get the word out:
23. How long does it take to “build” a crowd? It typically takes 4–6 weeks of consistency. This is why we have the 16-week commitment—it ensures we reach the point where the night is self-sustaining and packed.
24. Do you have references from other local venues? Yes! From Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers, Dave & Buster’s to the Thirsty Lion – we are happy to provide testimonials and our customer list of 140+ venues.
